As I began the process of building this website and ultimately my business, the most important thing I wanted to do was express myself and my intention. Moving from New York to California was a huge transition for me. What I found in California was everything I missed out on in New York. The landscape alone took me away with the wind into the happiest places deep inside of myself. I have never felt so alive and in love with all that was growing around. This natural beauty was something I wasn’t familiar with completely. All of that changed for me once I let nature inside. I’ve experienced great growth in these few years and I hope to keep evolving as a designer. That being said, a business began where I feel it is my duty to keep the natural setting of the texture of rocks, the stillness of grasses, the movement of the sea and the colors of the sky alive in everything I create.
Off of highway 1 is Pescadero, in lies Bean Hollow Beach. This sunset beach photo-shoot is meant to evoke the spirit of the end of Summer, beginning of Fall in the area. Surrounded by the pacific ocean and its amazing cliffs, the bride wears a smoky gray gown capturing hints of the skyline and ocean. Her deep and dramatic bouquet, plays off the drama of the landscape filled with antique garden roses, japanese anemones, chocolate cosmos, burgundy dahlias, astrantia, foxglove, snowberries and jasmine.
